Creative Director

Vicky began her television career working in Corporate Communications for The Walt Disney Television Company in the UK. With over 15 years experience, she has fostered a wealth of experience in both Commissioning and Production for major broadcasters and independent production companies for many years, both in the UK and Australia, working on hugely successful programmes such as; This Morning, Loose Women, and I’m A Celebrity.

Having explored puppetry of Myanmar in her debut short film, Master of Puppets, she formed a collaboration with Professor Claudia Orenstein, whose research into Indian women in puppetry sparked a new idea for tackling current issues.

Vicky believes that storytelling is everything and is passionate about the whole creative process, transforming ideas into reality and telling stories that make a difference.

An M.Phil in Sociology, Postgraduate in Social Work, P.G. Diploma in Women's Studies, having long associated with cultural & art forms acquired vast knowledge and versatile expertise. Characterized by strong enthusiasm, envisaged and passionately striving to bring-in radical changes into the training methodology for imparting knowledge to learners. Being a Founder Member and Director is very instrumental in setting up this organization in order to accomplish the envisaged objectives of imparting knowledge and skills through unique and innovative training methodology by effectively synchronizing theater art forms such as Puppetry with education, as "Educational Puppetry".

Claudia Orenstein

Claudia Orenstein

Scholar

Claudia Orenstein is a scholar, dramaturg, director and actor, who has worked and studied in the US, France, India, and Japan. Her current research focuses on the use of mixed media in contemporary performing object theatre and puppetry forms in India and Japan. Her articles and reviews appear in Asian Theatre Journal, Theatre, TDR, Theatre Symposium, Animated Encounters, Puppetry International, Puck, and Mime Journal. She serves as Associate Editor of Asian Theatre Journal and has been a Board Member of both the Association for Asian Performance and UNIMA-USA. She runs a month-long Winter Education Abroad program for Hunter College in India, and she also holds an appointment at the CUNY Graduate Center.

Simon has over 13 years’ professional experience in both broadcast and corporate sectors. He is an excellent videographer and has an eye for detail that makes his work outstanding.

He has had broadcast credits on many channels including ITV, Vintage TV and Sony Entertainment Television Asia where he edited six series of the channel’s highly successful 5-a-side Cup. On the corporate front he has produced a number of films for the United Nations and worked for many highly respected creative companies such as Engine Creative, GASP and Cliff Productions.

Andrew Hart is an award-winning photographer and cinematographer. He has a keen eye for detail and specialises in creative retouching along with the latest camera techniques and new technologies. He has a particular interest in location portraiture and off-camera flash techniques.
